I'll just tell my kids that Godzilla Vs The Devil was phony. If they ask anything more, they go to hell. Plain and simple!

On second thought, I take it back. drbotanus (the creator of the awesome fan-made trailer) said that there was an article about an abandoned, animated Godzilla movie in a 1987 issue of Fangoria, a magazine solely dedicated to Horror and some Science Fiction movies.

FANGORIA printed a lot of misinformation back in the day. That's not anything to go by.

Godzilla vs The Devil is the worst of the scraped Goji movies, I'm glad it was thrown away like trash

It would be kind of funny because people could say that godzilla is powerful enough to beat teh devil. All fantasy matches would be ruined.

Maybe a subsection of the Cutting Room for persistent false rumors? Stuff like the alleged alternate ending of KKvsG in which Godzilla wins, and now Godzilla vs. the Devil. I dunno how much else you could do for content for something like that, though.
Something like this makes sense if Arbok was to get time to do it.

It's honestly pretty easy to gloss over some really cool articles on the main site.
