Oh well. I'm okay with this concept not even being made in the first place. It's still a piece of Toho lore.

On second thought, I take it back. drbotanus (the creator of the awesome fan-made trailer) said that there was an article about an abandoned, animated Godzilla movie in a 1987 issue of Fangoria, a magazine solely dedicated to Horror and some Science Fiction movies.

It would be kind of funny because people could say that godzilla is powerful enough to beat teh devil. All fantasy matches would be ruined.

I think the concept is so well known that it needs to be mentioned on the site. I don't want it to misled anyone else though that it was something Toho was considering, and therefore don't want it listed in the Cutting Room. I will give it some thought and see how best to approach this.

Maybe a subsection of the Cutting Room for persistent false rumors? Stuff like the alleged alternate ending of KKvsG in which Godzilla wins, and now Godzilla vs. the Devil. I dunno how much else you could do for content for something like that, though.

Something like this makes sense if Arbok was to get time to do it.
