I found the level of blood usage in the Showa series to be appropriate. Compare to Gamera or Ultraman, which had monsters getting their limbs torn off.

Kong is Ness and Skull Island is apart of Undertale.

Gib money.

For overkill, just look at what Guiron did to the Space Gyaos. He sliced up Gyaos like a deli slicer.

When I saw that as I kid I was horrified but at the same time giggling my head off!

I had the privilege of seeing the Japanese version as a kid, unlike some unlucky ones....

Maybe Minilla was some mutation inside a Kamacarus' ootheca and that's why they attacked..... Maybe Minilla ISN'T the Son of Godzilla! He's some weird Kamacari that Godzilla felt bad for!

..... Nope, the other guys would never accept that..........

Like I said Muruchi deserves every minute of that. Doragoris just couldn't take his whining.

It's a good thing I never got into Ultraman as a kid - Anguirus' jaw getting torn by MechaGodzilla always terrified me. I don't think there's too much gore in the Showa series, but I'm sensitive to jaw tearing. It creeps me out.
