I always loved in "Megalon" when the Seatopian agent explains why they can't live on Earth and the hero means, "You mean, you're too dumb" and the guy just loses it and smacks the shit out of him. It's just a funny exchange.

Godzilla's entrance to the final battle of Godzilla vs Megalon.

First he literally appears out of nowhere, in all his giant eyed glory while the Godzilla theme from Hedorah plays in the backround.

Then he bounces, not walks, BOUNCES towards Gigan and Megalon as he flails his arms around like a brain damaged monkey on a sugar high. For some reason, Megalon and Gigan do not notice this display of insanity.

When he finally arrives to the duo, the camera man starts shooting the scene as if it were a western, it almost looks like Godzilla and Gigan are about to have a shootout.

But suddenly, for no reason what so ever, BANJO MUSIC STARTS PLAYING. It's honestly one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed on film. Godzilla and banjo music, together at last.

I love the part where Gigan takes Jet Jaguar hostage, complete with the dramatic claw to jugular thing. And Monster Match I is probably my favorite cue Manabe scored for the film, simply because of its discordant absurdity.
