Godzilla vs. Gigan - The Café Background Music

"You're a hard bitch."

Anyone with more information on Toho production stock music know where it's from? It's the only bit of music from the film that hasn't been released anywhere to my knowledge.

Maybe Minilla was some mutation inside a Kamacarus' ootheca and that's why they attacked..... Maybe Minilla ISN'T the Son of Godzilla! He's some weird Kamacari that Godzilla felt bad for!

..... Nope, the other guys would never accept that..........

I don't know even know what a he-ba is......

I think it was released on the recent Toho soundtracks a few years ago. I don't have it but the ones I do have, play every tune in the film. Thanks for reminding me, I need Destroy All Monsters too to complete my Showa soundtrack collection.

Delete enemies. Lol.

I'll gladly eat crow if it doesn't turn out that way....but at this point it feels painfully obvious, as it has for months.

Sorry if this is bumping an old topic but I felt I had something to contribute.

So, being a major fan of this movie, I remember the cafe music very well. So you can imagine to my surprise, that during a viewing of an episode of Game Center CX, that not only did I hear the same tune, but it had lyrics!

The episode in question is Season 5 episode 35 "Princess Tomato and the Salad Kingdom". As soon as the usual arcade visit segment begins, you can clearly hear what is the same song from the cafe scene play for a few moments. I can only assume this means the tune was an instrumental version of an existing song. If anyone would know the name of this song, it'd be a great help in solving a childhood mystery of mine.
