DAM Rodan: The Suit

Post by GojirO »

In the movie, when rodan stands there, he looks friggen goody. His beak looks like ut had erectile dysfunction. The flying suit they used was amazing and actually looked good but the standing suit was just to much a pet peeve for me. Anyone else notice this?

Except the flying suit wasn't actually a suit. It was a prop.

Honestly, I don't think the suit looked that good even in '65. By '68, it looked terrible.

That Rodan does look goofy. Th '56 Rodan was the best.

Now that I think about it, 1960s Rodan sort of looked like another Japanese import, Yoko Ono.

^ Neither did I. Huh. And yeah, I agree that the suit and its droopy parrot beak looked pretty bad by DAM.

I very much consider TFA to be half-assed. What a generic film which only fed on nostalgia, it brought nothing new to the table.
That's not true. C3PO had a red arm.

I wonder if they made Roddie look like a badly burnt and bald Big Bird on purpose to please to Children.

In what?

DAM?

I thought the suit was rotting... :|
I thought the head hit too much, causing Roddie to develop that -------- look, until I saw the photo Tapkaara posted, looks like they designed it that way on purpose xD

I guess it doesn't look like what you'd think a radioactive pheradactyl would look like.

It kinda looks creepy, which I like
