Not a giant humanoid.Human size and weight humanoid but with Kaiju level physical strengthJAGzilla wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 10:24 amProbably not without using weapons, no. PR kaiju pretty much have to be physically destroyed before they go down, and it would be tough to do that with punches and kicks. About the only thing a giant humanoid could hope to do would be strangle a kaiju or break its neck, and those could be hard to accomplish, depending on the kaiju in question.

This won’t get me to renew my Netflix subscription early, but I will watch it when Singular Point comes out.

It looks.. fine, i guess? Still has that really weird looking Polygon art style i'm no fan of.

"Multiple breaches" implies its taking cues from Uprising which is an automatic pass for me. This franchise should never have gotten a sequel.

Well, that was a load of nothing. It might as well been a guy standing at the side of the road, with a sign that read, "new cartoon show coming next month!!" .
Aside from that, the art style is giving me flashbacks to the Earth Trilogy( that's what I'm calling the Godzilla anime trilogy from now on, just sounds cooler), hopefully this won't be big, boring, pile of wasted potential.

The mention of "multiple breaches" that I highlighted is a plot point specifically from Uprising, i.e. that there isn't one Breach but multiple.imposterzilla wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 5:06 pmSeems like it ignores UprisingUltramanGoji wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 1:27 pm "Multiple breaches" implies its taking cues from Uprising which is an automatic pass for me. Re: Pacific Rim (the big general thread)
Character animation looks better than the Godzilla trilogy. All this stuff coming out so close together. This, Godzilla vs Kong, Singular Point, anything else I'm missing?

At least it's basically impossible for it to be as bad as Uprising.

Re: Pacific Rim (the big general thread)
It's not the idea that it takes place in the same universe/timeline as Uprising (although there's utterly no reason to believe it doesn't), it's the idea that it's furthering idiotic writing decisions made in Uprising that severely dampen the story of the first film.imposterzilla wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 7:07 pmCorrect but doesnt mean its the same timelime, esp with Striker Eureaka being seen.UltramanGoji wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 5:58 pmThe mention of "multiple breaches" that I highlighted is a plot point specifically from Uprising, i.e. that there isn't one Breach but multiple.

Re: Pacific Rim (the big general thread)
Well yeah but I was just thinking in the general release period. A lot of this stuff is hitting within the March/April time-frame.

Well if i was invading another universe I would make multiple breaches instead of one pigeon hole.UltramanGoji wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 7:36 pmIt's not the idea that it takes place in the same universe/timeline as Uprising (although there's utterly no reason to believe it doesn't), it's the idea that it's furthering idiotic writing decisions made in Uprising that severely dampen the story of the first film.imposterzilla wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 7:07 pmCorrect but doesnt mean its the same timelime, esp with Striker Eureaka being seen.UltramanGoji wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 5:58 pm
