I've enjoyed all the films so far for what they are, so yay.
I unapologetically, wholeheartedly, and without a doubt hate Godzilla vs Kong.

The original Tremors film is a stone cold classic as far as I'm concerned...
and the first sequel has a certain charm to it...but it gets a little hazy after
that for me

Likewise. Although the last two feel like they're improving...

How I'd rank the Tremors movies IMO.

1. Tremors 2: Aftershocks
2. Tremors
3. Tremors 4: The Legend Begins
4. Tremors 3: Back to Perfection

Won't bother ranking the other two.

Clips from the never aired TV pilot to the sadly not picked up Kevin Bacon starring TREMORS series will be featured at the ATX Television Festival.

Sounds interesting.

Really? I suppose a sandy beach makes more since than ice and frozen tundra of the last film.

And there was a TV series. Personally I haven't seen any of the newest ones since Universal dropped the original creative team.

There's a whole saga here:

*Tremors (1990) (this one introduced the graboids),
*Tremors 2: Aftershocks (1996) (this one introduced the shriekers),
*Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001) (this one introduced the ass-blasters),
*Tremors: The Series (2003) (one-half season, 13 episodes; the actual on-screen title was just Tremors and the only way you're going to see the episodes in their order of occurrence (as opposed to the original broadcast order) is on the DVD release),
*Tremors 4: The Legend Begins (2004) (the only prequel and the origin story),
*Tremors 5: Bloodlines (2015; sure took them long enough to get the saga started up again, if you ask me),
*Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell (2018),
*Tremors: Shrieker Island (2020).

Believe it or not, the fifth film was originally going to be called Tremors 5: The Thunder from Down Under (a possible good idea for a future sequel, perhaps? Hmmmmm...).

For more information, look up the article "Tremors (franchise)" on Wikipedia. Hope this helps.

Also everything through Tremors 4 was from the series creators. 5 and onward are from a completely different team (though Bloodlines is partly based on a script by the original writers).

A trailer for Tremors 6: Shrieker Island came out a few weeks ago, it'll be coming out in October

Still using the new African Graboid design, I really miss the originals

You mean Tremors 7. 6 was A Cold Day in Hell.
