Godzilla 2 (KOTM made from scratch)

Post by Cryptid_Liker »

Part 1:
Spoiler:
The opening scene is a battle between Monarch forces and a kaiju that resembles a scaly bear with horns. Eventually, the battle is won by Monarch via maser tank. We cut to the carcass being studied by scientists at a Monarch facility as we meet our main character, a biologist specialized in reptiles. Other characters in this scene include a group of elite soldiers and the 2014 returning duo (Ishiro and Vivienne). As in KOTM, the movie stays with Monarch for a while before it cuts to a space station orbiting Earth. Activity on said satellite is normal until something is spotted in the distance. Specifically, an asteroid glowing with a faint orange hue. The rock exhibits strange qualities, randomly speeding up before slowing down. Back on Earth, the ocean floor starts trembling. From the seabed bursts Godzilla (who looks almost exactly like 2014 save for some more scars and a lighter underside), who has sensed something peculiar. We cut back to outer space where the "asteroid" is much closer to the space station and glowing much brighter. The strange celestial body halts and the station's crew are relieved. Suddenly, a magnetic field flings everyone towards the wall. The space station starts to tear apart. The structure eventually collapses in on itself, killing all inside. Now unopposed, the asteroid speeds up to enter Earth's atmosphere.
Part 2:
Spoiler:
News of the space station's destruction gets out immediately and Monarch starts to prepare for a possible kaiju attack. The asteroid lands in Russia, causing major earthquakes. A few countries away, Mount Fuji starts to stir and become active. As Monarch focuses their G-Force division on the mountain, something large shoots out from the crater of Fuji. The unidentified object (resembling a pterosaur with a hooked beak, red T. rex-like scales instead of pycnofibers, and two horns) starts soaring around, unaware of the Monarch jets following it. Eventually, it notices and starts flying around the jets. The speed difference between the aircrafts and the creature is vastly different, with the latter being faster. The fighters are taken out one by one (as in the film). Before the last jet can be destroyed, a familiar roar is heard. Godzilla has emerged from the Sea of Japan. The two apex predators clash, with Godzilla's atomic breath barely pushing the flying kaiju (now named Rodan) back. The battle ends with a draw as Rodan suddenly pauses and heads towards where the meteor crashed. Godzilla follows the pterosaur kaiju. Meanwhile, a giant blue and yellow egg is discovered in a temple made by an ancient civilization. As scientist carefully study it, a crack starts to form. Suddenly, a high-pitched chirp is heard as a psychic blast destroys the egg and sends the humans flying. A brown larval kaiju slithers from the temple and off the island, headed straight for Russia. Rodan and Godzilla make it to Moscow, or at least what used to be Moscow. Remnants of buildings and architecture float in the air, orbiting the meteor as if they were planets around the Sun. Godzilla, sensing that this asteroid is the cause of Moscow's destruction, roars before firing his atomic breath. The rock explodes, scattering debris all over the ruins. Suddenly, the fire starts moving back to its origin point. Then, the flames form into a strange shape. And then, it subsides. Ghidorah (who looks like S7 Drogon but with asian dragon heads and spiked ankylosaur tail clubs) has been awakened.
Part 3:
Spoiler:
Rodan launches himself up to fight Ghidorah. The former is initially unable to keep up with the red pterosaur but eventually, he manages to knock him down with a Gravity Beam. Ghidorah lands and prepares to kill Rodan before Godzilla tackles him. The heroic kaiju fares better than his newly-found ally but is overpowered. Ghidorah uses his tail clubs to target Godzilla's gills. The latter kaiju tries to defend himself but he's overwhelmed. When Godzilla tries to get back up, Ghidorah unleashes Gravity Beams from every single head, covering the area with the former's blood. With one last roar, the reptilian kaiju collapses. Ghidorah looks behind himself, only to see that Rodan is gone. Although slightly bothered, the hydra flies off to wreak havoc on more cities. G-Force attempts to stop Ghidorah, only to fail miserably. It truly seems like the apocalypse as more and more of humanity is killed off. The larva arrives at the main Monarch base before talking to them using telepathy. She introduces herself as Mosura and explains that she is against Ghidorah, too. The telepathic kaiju gestures for Monarch to follow her before swimming off. She leads them to a Hollow Earth tunnel (seen earlier in Godzilla's first appearance) where we see many kaiju, either INOs of Toho monsters or completely original, living their daily lives. Mosura explains that there's a mineral that'll revitalize Godzilla. They obtain it and leave. The caterpillar takes the sample and swims to Moscow. Along with the mineral, Mothra uses healing powers to bring Godzilla back to life. The reptilian monster now glows turquoise instead of blue. The two split off, with Godzilla going to Tokyo, Ghidorah's next destination, while Mothra goes to find Rodan, who's back at Mount Fuji, preparing for a rematch. Godzilla challenges Ghidorah, who's suprised and angry that the former survived. The two fight in the most chaotic battle of the Monsterverse so far. Eventually, Ghidorah gains the upper hand by firing a Gravity Beam down Godzilla's throat. When it seems like the golden hydra will finish off his opponent for good, he's violently sprayed with silky webs. Godzilla looks over to see Mothra riding on top of Rodan's back. The two distract Ghidorah enough for Godzilla to rejoin the fight and we finally get the "holy trinity" teamup. Godzilla pummels Ghidorah while Rodan delivers savage pecks and Uranium heat rays (an ability he gained offscreen from the radioactive Hollow Earth mineral) and Mothra makes it rain with silk. The three-headed monster barely manages to take out Godzilla's support team before firing his Gravity Beams at his nemesis. Suprisingly, Godzilla fires his Atomic Breath as well, causing a beamlock. Ghidorah uses this opportunity to strike his opponent in the eye with his tail club. This suprise attack knocks Godzilla down. Ghidorah stands back up, looks at his downed opponents, and lets out a victory roar. Before he can fly off, he notices Godzilla weakly standing back up. The reptilian kaiju's spines glow a powerful crimson as he straightens his back. Ghidorah, knowing this isn't good, tries to flee but his tails are grabbed by Godzilla. The glowing alpha predator lifts his enemy and then slams him into the ground. Ghidorah tries to fight back using his Gravity Beams but they have no effect on the adrenaline-fueled Godzilla. As the former King of Destruction looks up fearfully, his opponent charges up his radiation. Godzilla fires a red Atomic Breath at Ghidorah's middle head, obliterating it. Blood and brains fly onto the city streets and Godzilla's body. Mothra and Rodan wake up, seeing the aftermath of the carnage they missed. Godzilla looks at his two allies before rearing his head into the sky and letting out a deafening roar that resembles the early Heisei roar as well as the new roar.
END OF FILM.
(I don't know if this fits in the Fan-Fiction section or the Monsterverse section, honestly)
