Wizards of the Coast has recently decided to change the lore surrounding evil races such as the orcs and drow, out of allegations of racism from a twitter post back in April that went viral.

I'm not really sure how to feel about all this, tbh. It all seems way overblown and more than a little silly, and this is coming from me – an individual who frequently makes various "evil" races neutral aligned in his own games out of a sense of realism.

I always chalk it up as majority of the race is evil but there are outliers who aren't. One of the things that bugged me about the Godzilla anime is we never saw Exif or Bilusaludo who were left in the dark about their leaders plans. You gonna tell me in the 20 years they were pretending to be friends with each other and the humans none of them actually started caring for others stuck on the same cosmic lifeboat as them?
