They used the SHMA as a source. Hahaha.
No complaints here! That SHMA figure was badass!! My only regret is not using $200 of my tax return to buy one, that year... Now I'd be using my hwole tax return to get one. hahahahaha.
Just wait for the eventual repaint/reissue, lol.

Maybe Gaira will have a paint job that doesn't suck this time...

Bandais new Gaira already blew the Y-MSF one out of the park. Tbh the Y-MSF Gaira always seemed one of their weaker releases to me especially compared to Rodan, Manda, and Kumonga

I hoping to get a job soon. Is ebay the only place/best place for Y-MSF figures for US fans? Or will I have to resort to using middle man services? Any tips getting into this line will be helpful. Also, how do they scale with the SH monsterarts 1964 Godzilla? Thanks.
GVK: TNE is a modern day 70s Showa Godzilla movie. Being a massive budget modern blockbuster CGI film instead of traditional 70s tokusatsu techniques doesn't change that. Fight me.

Anguirus and Godzilla being friends in the Showa series is cannon. Deal with it.

Monsterverse is not similar to either MCU nor Bayformers just because all three are big budget CGI blockbuster franchises.

Ebay and Tempting Toys are the best places. They'll dwarf it since Y-MSF scales with Bandai vinyls

Just got the Dark green, closed mouth Gorosaurus at G-Fest. Love it.

Although his eyes seem a tad too small. Other then that its a great figure. I like the straight tail over the curved one. That one seemed kind of stumpy...

Hey, so I got the Gorosaurus a few years back when it came out, and a couple years ago I noticed the plastic was sort of sticky. Not all the time though, like if it's cool out it's not sticky, and sometimes just randomly. I don't remember if it was like that when I got it, not a huge deal, just was wondering if anyone else had the same issue.

So does anyone know if there have been anymore developments on the figures that were announced a while ago? I like the new 1962 Godzilla and I think there were pictures of a Baragon going around.
This is the beginning of the end.

Those molds are really old now, and Y-MSF has been pretty quiet as of late

Hmmmmm that's a real shame. :(
I thought they looked pretty good.

Looks like Y-MSF is back with some new figures, available now at Tempting Toys! First, we've got Kong 2017 Giant Gorilla:

Image

I think it looks...fine. Personally, I think it looks pretty similar to Prometheus from the unmade King Kong vs. Prometheus project.

Image

Next, we have...

Dr. Gori and Karras from Spectreman. Wow. Talk about obscure! I personally would have preferred some of the older kaiju sculpts (Rodan '64, Kamacuras, etc.) to finally be put out, but whatever. Still nice to see this company still in production.
Please refer to me as jiggy22 (or just jiggy!)

Meanwhile, we still wait for the YMSF Biollante, Showa King Ghidorah, crawling Baragon, Varan 2.0, Kamacuras... etc.
