BBTS is now showing 1954 and GMK Atomic to be coming in the new Ultimate packaging.

I bought them again because apparently I'm a sucker for the new packaging.

yeah that one is one of their best figures for sure. I was never really a fan of that suit or movie until I got that figure. It won me over.

Same, in my opinion it makes Godzilla look unintelligent due to the small, conical forehead and close eyes. But being able to see it from every angle when you want really helps you appreciate it and find angles where it looks really good. It certainly helps when he isn't flapping around and clapping like a hyperactive child, lol.

The flapping and clapping is part of the fun though

The atomic 01, I already have one in clamshell.

I see Mothra vs. Godzilla Neca is available at Amazon but still waiting for it from BBTS. This has happened before right? I'm not in a huge rush for it just want to make sure I get it.

I've checked three targets. No luck.

Yeah my East Coast Target had squat. But that's per usual for newer NECA products.

Do we know if these buys have been mainly on the west coast?

I live in New York and there were three at my Target yesterday.

I won't ask where specifically, but that's surprising. I'm pretty sure my NY target gets hit by scalpers weekly.

Jumping back to the 62 for a second, does anyone know a way to smoothen the joints in the elbows and knees? For me they're scary, I think there may still be a little residue in them but the elbows only "click" between fully closed and fully open, and the knees do move but i have to force them hard to free them from their normal position that they keep locking in and I'm scared of breaking them.

Heat them up. With either a Blowdryer or Hot water. That will loosen them up.

Before the crappy weather comes...stopped at a Target in Passaic County, NJ with the gf and saw this. Grabbed the best one. There were a bunch of Mothra and one Rodan as well behind the fire Godzilla figures.

It looks so but a very dark translucent plastic and heavily painted to boot.
