So these are gonna be P-Bandai Exclusives, then?Petezilla wrote:The 6“ figures of Ultraman Ginga, Victory, X & Five King are “Sofubi Spirit“ releases. The series logo is the very same that the Raijin figure from Pacific Rim 2 beared. Interesting...

...So, after my latest haul, this is how my 500 collection is looking:
It's not a 50-monster army yet, but it's getting there. Time will tell if I reach a full army.

Nope, Sofvi Spirits was made to be a partner line with the Robot Spirits, specifically Pacific Rim Uprising. Raijin is the first release. You can see the full list, when they update maybe, here. Bandai even includes older releases for other lines, like SOC, dating back to 1997.. It doesn't help sites like Hobby Search mistakenly list it as Soul of Soft Vinyl.

Both the PR line and the EVA Sachiel have the below for the "line" name.
Which is why i grouped them together. I guess it wasn't a true line back then but it is now.ソフビ魂
Soft Vinyl Soul

Re: Ultra 500, Ultra X & Ultra Orb Figure Thread
It's the same line. Just revived/rehashed. Much like the Movie Monster Series or Ultra Hero/Monster Series. These got rebooted multiple times always with different/updated tags/boxes. The MMS even had a 6 year hiatus from 2008 to 2014 with not a single release. The Sofubi Spirit line is nothing different. It had Kamen Rider, Evangelion, etc. figures back the days and it now has Pacific Rim & Ultraman stuff (so far).

Those were split into two different lines - one Soul of Soft Vinyl and Tamashii Spec, neither of which are Sofvi Spirits.

Both variants were mass releases, but the original 2005 release (with way better paint apps) is harder to find and more expensive than the 2011 (?) re-issue.

Re: Ultra 500, Ultra X & Ultra Orb Figure Thread
Is anyone else here who bought various Ultra kaijus even though some of them aren't what they would refer to as cool/good-looking?
Compared with the old 6"-line I could never buy figures like Icarus Seijin, Nova or Twin Tail. It doesn't matter to me, whether they are classical foes or not, I would never pay that much for them.
Yet the affordable price of the 5"-line brought many characters in my room, I would've never thought to have.
That aside, which three characters would you wish for getting made (really anything)?
My choose would be Kamereking from Ultraman Ace, Geranda and King of Mons.

+1 EXACTLY how I feel. Sorta like popcorn of pringles, you can't just have one.Dramorg wrote:Is anyone else here who bought various Ultra kaijus even though some of them aren't what they would refer to as cool/good-looking?

Beast The One (Final Form) - DX FigureDramorg wrote:That aside, which three characters would you wish for getting made (really anything)?

Ismael - DX Figure
Grand King (Showa) - DX Figure (New sculpt preferred)
Hyper Zetton Larva - DX Figure (Reissue?)
Ultraman Powered - Standard (All powered monster's why not)
Armored Darkness - Standard (Have the original, but might as well reissue it)
Zero Darkness - Standard (They had a Live Sign coded from the Ginga Era of Spark Dolls - where is his figure already?)
King Silvergon - Standard
Now - what they did with Gorg Golza and Gorg Antlar, reissuing the older figures in the "DX Line" and only increasing the price slightly, i'm okay with. Especially for kaiju - since they'll actually be in scale.

Re: Ultra 500, Ultra X & Ultra Orb Figure Thread
Kaiju I would like to see have a 500 or DX figure:
Aboras - This monster is one of my favorites from the original series, and I would like to see them tackle the blue brute. Also, I heard there was a lie about them getting a Spark Doll as well, so I want one even more now.
Zoiger - I really liked this monster from Tiga. He had a cool design, cool roar, and had a fun fight. However, the only figure we got of him was the Shibito version in the Final Odyssey. How about a figure of the main version?
Izmael - My second favorite Space Beast, I'm honestly shocked he never got a figure. However, if the rumors about Signal are true (He's rumored for a fusion with Nexus), we might get a figure very soon.

Windam would be cool, Showa Muruchi, and Ghostron...?Dramorg wrote:That aside, which three characters would you wish for getting made (really anything)?

Seabozu would be okay as well, just to throw a fourth one in there.
Also, isn't Dada (A) number 83 in the Ultra Monster 500 series? I can't find the guy anywhere.
I'd change my username if I had the chance. It's a typo. It's supposed to be "66," and it's a very unfortunate thing to have on my account. Please help.

I'd love an Xplus of this guy but yes the lack of a Bandai is disappointing. Though he's far from the only Space Beast without a Bandai. Banpira and Lizarius never got figures either.ZeppandonConfirmed wrote: Izmael - My second favorite Space Beast, I'm honestly shocked he never got a figure.
